Bluegrass festivals are a wonderful environment for kids! 

 

Northwest String Summit  is a strong family oriented 4 day festival tucked in a beautiful valley of rolling hills, trees and osprey at Hornings Hideout in Oregon.  Kids attend for free up to 10 years old.  String Summit provides a designated family camping  area, along with a kids pavillion near the music filled with crafts, workshops, face painting and all sorts of fun things.  Volunteers are on hand to facilitate and provide supplies.
